Amy Dunham is a shareholder in the transactions and litigation sections of Roberts Markel Weinberg PC. Ms. Dunham’s practice focuses on corporate law, with an emphasis on complex business litigation, contracts, formation issues, and real estate. She has represented major companies, financial institutions, accounting firms, other business entities, professionals, officers and directors in their most complex litigation and transactional matters. She also serves as general counsel for several small businesses in the Houston area.

Ms. Dunham has achieved very favorable results in trial, on motion, in settlement and on appeal; however, she understands that sometimes the better result is to never reach the courtroom. She counsels small companies on litigation avoidance techniques and strategies.

Prior to joining Roberts Markel Weinberg PC, Amy practiced in the areas of family law, corporate, financial services, as well as taxation at a law firm in St. Louis, Missouri. She was also previously employed at a non-profit property management company that focused on historical and tax-credit properties. While there, Ms. Dunham developed two social service housing programs designed to benefit St. Louis' indigent residents. She funded these programs by obtaining grant awards of over $50,000.

Ms. Dunham has lectured and written on a variety of topics involving entity selection, drafting contracts and complex property issues.
