Brady Ortego grew up in Galveston County, Texas. Brady Ortego graduated from Dickinson High School. Mr. Ortego attended Stephen F. Austin State University where he received his B.S. in Psychology.
Mr. Ortego graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2003 where he received numerous academic awards as a result of his hard work and intellect. Brady Ortego received the highest grade award in both Civil Procedure and Contracts II. Brady Ortego also made the Dean’s Honor List and South Texas awarded Mr. Ortego the Order of the Lytae, which noted his tendency for achievement and consistency towards excellence. While in law school Mr. Ortego received several scholarships including, the South Texas College of Law Academic Merit Scholarship, the Vinson & Elkins Public Interest Scholarship, the South Texas College of Law General Scholarship and the South Texas College of Law Enhancement Scholarship.
Mr. Ortego has participated in several areas of the firm’s practice, including toxic tort defense, real estate litigation, transactions and development. Mr. Ortego’s current practice focuses on the representation of developers in creation of master planned communities throughout the State of Texas. Mr. Ortego also counsels residential and commercial community associations throughout Texas and works with lenders in providing financing to the associations. Additionally, Brady Ortego oversees complex commercial real estate transactions.
Brady Ortego is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.
