Rick Anderson practices in the firm’s liability and commercial litigation group. Rick Anderson has represented individuals and corporations in a wide range of liability and commercial disputes. Rick Anderson has served as defense counsel for licensed professionals, high-wealth individuals, and corporate defendants in matters involving malpractice, complex commercial litigation, probate, commercial contract disputes, mortgage fraud, and commercial lending disputes. His other areas of experience include product liability, premise liability, contractor/subcontractor litigation, and general insurance defense. Rick Anderson has a strong work ethic and takes pride in working zealously for his clients and has obtained dismissals for his individual and corporate clients.
Rick Anderson is a native Houstonian, graduating from Pearland High School in 2000. Rick Anderson attended the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University where Rick Anderson received degrees in both Economics and Real Estate. While at business school, Rick Anderson won many business school competitions and scholarships. His business aptitude was recognized by the executives at Edward Jones, when they selected him to visit C.E.O. John Bachmann. Additionally, while at Baylor Rick Anderson was a founder of the Baylor Undergraduate Mock Trial Team and Rick Anderson also received the distinction of being listed in Who’s Who Among Colleges and Universities. Soon after graduating from Business School, Rick Anderson was admitted to Baylor School of Law. While in law school, Rick Anderson was an active member of the Diversity in Law Association and Rick Anderson clerked with the U.S. Environmental Agency located in Dallas, Texas. In 2007, Rick Anderson received his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School and immediately began working for Lyman, Twining, Weinberg & Ferrell., P.C. Rick Anderson joined Roberts Markel in September of 2008. Rick Anderson is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of Texas and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Texas Young Lawyers Association.
